How to Forgive a Whole Family for Neglect and Rejection
Many have been
hurt by a whole family through neglect and rejection. A whole family has to do
with both grandparents, parents, uncles, aunties, brothers, and sisters, etc.
There is such a thing as whole family neglect or rejection because I have
personally met people who have shared their stories with me how they were
neglected and rejected by their whole family, none of them ever wanted to and ever
helped them until someone they never knew from anywhere helped them to become
who and what they are today.
Some even
didn't have anyone, they had to struggle, hustle, punished themselves with jobs
they were not supposed to do, some had to borrow from friends to pay fees and now they have reached where they are today.
Maybe you are a victim of such situations and you feel like you don't have a
biological family anymore or you may know someone who has gone through what I
am talking about here. Help yourself or somebody with this solution:
I know by now you have consumed and built yourself with the strategic steps by having a willing heart to forgive, love, longsuffering, and hope.
The next line of
action is to remind yourself that you belong to a master and a greater family
which is the family of God Almighty.
Ephesians 3:14-16
[14] For this reason [seeing the greatness of this
plan by which you are built together in Christ], I bow my knees before the
Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
[15] For Whom every family in heaven and on earth is
named [that Father from Whom all fatherhood takes its title and derives its
name].
[16] May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His
glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by
the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality].
There is a
family both in heaven and on earth named after God in which you belong. In this
family are all the riches, the joy, peace, satisfaction, successes, and all the
goodies you can think of.
James 1:17- Every good gift and every perfect (free, large, full) gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of all [that gives] light, in [the shining of] Whom there can be no variation [rising or setting] or shadow cast by His turning [as in an eclipse].
However, you cannot access and enjoy all the wonderful treasury and goodies in this family of God you are in if you harbor all these pain and hurt caused you by your biological family. Therefore, you don't want to allow the actions of your biological family by neglect or rejection to take away your eternal joy. And that is why you have to forgive them.
After reminding yourself of all this and
having the awareness of your eternal family with its treasury, you forgive your
biological family in your heart and your mind.
If any family member needs help for themselves or their kids, help them if it's in your capacity to do so. If they realize your status one day and invite you to a family meeting, make time by the direction of God to attend. You can even name a child after one of them to show that you have nothing against them, not anymore.
You are on your way to greater
blessings and breakthroughs as you begin to forgive them… in Jesus' name.

Some families are wicked oo, hmmm
